Divine Understanding

Science can explain a lot more than we know. After all, it is essentially the act of the human race attempting to decipher nature's mysteries. We use terms like "paranormal" to describe things that don't fit into our understanding of life and energy forces. If one experiences memories of a past life, the religious term for this is "reincarnation", yet it is a simple fact of life that we inherit instincts and each of us are actually born with previous life experience that is passed on to us through genetics, once again proving my theory that science and spirituality can co-exist peacefully.

I believe the evidence leading up to 2012, be it the ancient prophecies, our recent climate change or simply our observation of a changing universe is a sign that there are some that are able to tap into more than just their instincts, but also into a telepathic realm of information.

Our brains operate on a basis of electrical impulses. In fact, humans have a magnetic field that surrounds them due to the energy we project. This energy field can be seen as an "aura", or a colored light that surrounds every individual person. In addition to projecting energy forces, the human body is able to absorb energy. This opens up the possibility that perhaps we are able to absorb energy that other people are projecting and subconsciously detect and understand the inner emotions and even the thoughts of that person just by the energy they radiate. The color of a person's aura can usually indicate their mood, whether they are angry or scared or at peace can be visually detected. Pheromones are chemicals that are released by the brain, their sole purpose being to signal other people. Animals use pheromones to attract mates, but perhaps there is more to it when it comes to humans.

They say that a large majority of communication is non-verbal. We can communicate through body language, through smell due to our pheromones, and perhaps on a semi-conscious level, by absorbing the energy of those who are around us. The fact that we communicate verbally with the languages we know, is essentially ineffective. Describing locations or objects is no problem, but what about our feelings? If one is to describe their internal emotion as "love" then how are they assured the person on the other end truly understands exactly what that feeling is? The fact of the matter is, they aren't. Everyone has a different concept of what it is, and when they hear the word "love" they are understanding it based on their own concepts and experiences with love. We all know the feeling exists, but some have experienced it on varying degrees, or perhaps not at all.

It is hard to imagine communicating any other way with each other. Our vocal chords have developed to form distinct sounds, we have developed complex systems of symbols, alphabets and grammatical structures, yet we still aren't able to fully communicate with each other... yet.

The term "collective memory" refers to the theory that all human beings are able to draw on millions of years of information that has been passed on through genetics (often giving the illusion of reincarnation). If a person discovers something, the energy produced by their brain can be picked up by the rest of the world. It's as if all of our memories are all stored in the same place and we can draw on events and ideas that we haven't actually experienced. One theory states that all things that exist are all part of the same wave of energy. How every atom and molecule is constantly moving, completely separate from each other much like the gravitational forces of our solar system. If it were a "big bang" that created all of this out of nothing, then surely everything in the universe is still connected through that energy. The origin of mankind is still subject to much scientific and religious debate but whether it is "God" as seen by those of an organized religion, a higher form of galactic forces believed by some spiritual followers, or the big bang as theorized by science, we can all agree that it was some form of energy that sparked life as we know it today. Understanding this energy may help us understand where we came from and help us look in to the future to see where we are headed.

The fact that the Mayans knew details about our universe and were able to so accurately map time and space, is evidence that everything we know today is still a very small percentage of the true secrets of our existence. The correlation between the forces that make our planets orbit the sun and the forces that make electrons orbit the nucleus of an atom, can almost tell us that there are forces on such a higher scale that we cannot comprehend. Perhaps our earth is no more than an electron orbiting our sun as a nucleus of an atom in another parallel universe that exists on a greater scale. Given that the telescopes we use to observe far off galaxies are essentially the same as the microscopes we use to observe particles on a tiny scale, it is fair to say that there exists realms that we haven't discovered yet with our eyes, perhaps the same realms we see with our "third eye" or "pineal gland" when we dream and when we die, the only two times that our brain produces DMT, the most powerful hallucinogen known to exist. DMT may just be the uplink into alternate dimensions that we so eagerly await to discover.

After looking into DMT, and hearing about people's experiences on it, I began to explore the effects of certain hallucinogens (particularly psilocybin mushrooms) on the human mind. For centuries, these psychedelic mushrooms have been used by spiritual healers and for meditation as they induce a trance-like state and often are known to cause spiritual visions or hallucinations. Today, in northwestern society, users often experience energy and mild hallucinations when consuming them, but mushrooms can actually unlock another dimension when taken under the right circumstances.

**Before I continue I would just like to state that mushrooms are a restricted substance and are therefore illegal to carry or distribute, I take no liability for anyone getting arrested for trying substances based on my own account**

That being said, I decided to take mushrooms.

Having done them before, often with friends in a public setting, I experienced a mild euphoria and small hallucinations. They drew me to nature for some reason and always had a positive effect. However, your surroundings certainly dictate your conscious boundaries. For example, if you are in public you would be more conscious of your mannerisms and appearance than if you were alone. With all the visual and audio distractions, it is almost impossible to connect to anything on a semi-conscious level since your guard is up in full force. My latest experience was different however. I decided to take them by myself.

After consuming a few grams i had boiled up into a "shroom tea" I drank the solution and after about 20 minutes, consumed just a small amount of marijuana (which I find is an effective catalyst for the chemical reaction in your brain since it helps slow the role of your conscious thought) and I watched a couple psychedelic slide shows to music known as Goa Trance (known to enhance any psychedelic experience). Before long, my eyes drifted onto my keyboard which no longer had letters or numbers on it, in fact the buttons themselves appeared to be illuminated and could not seem to form a solid pattern. I closed my eyes and that's when I made the connection.

Much like that of a DMT experience, the blackness of my eyes being closed seemed to manifest itself into the universe through a floating feeling and the corresponding movements of lights and shapes at different angles. I felt another life form present, something of a greater spiritual understanding. I was not scared as it projected a very comforting feeling. It peeled a corner of the blackness away without revealing itself and underneath was, "the way the universe worked" as it seemed to communicate to me. What I saw was hard to describe. It was spread out as far as I could see like a sheet and was comprised of an infinite number of these spinning gears, that were strung next to each other, each of them spinning at different velocities bearing foreign symbols (something like those of the Hebrew alphabet) that were written in either yellow, blue, red or green on a surface that was another one of those colors. The gears were in a line but did not form an array, the lines of them seemed to intersect randomly and flow in a chaotic fashion, far beyond anything that my mind could comprehend. As I floated away from it and experienced a few other visualizations of complex psychedelic colors, patterns and wavelengths, suddenly I had a feeling of great understanding.

It was not an understanding of the fine, inner-workings of the universe, but more of a spiritual knowing that my thoughts and feelings towards our planet were somehow validated. That when I first heard about 2012 and it's impending doom, for the first time in a while I was intrigued to look into it for my own personal understanding (this being less that a year before I started this blog). I have discovered that not only are ancient Mayans and Egyptians correct in their understanding of the universe thousands of years before modern science could confirm it, but that they claim to have contacted a higher power from outside of this Earth. Nasa astronauts confirm there being unexplained forces and lifeforms that exist beyond our planet. Our bodies and minds are continuously growing and that our DNA has changed suddenly with respect to the changing amounts of radiation that the sun gives off throughout its cycles over the course of human history. The accounts of religious figures may have been accurate but weren't communicated effectively, thus giving fault to many of the organized religions that exist today. Psychic children with unexplainable powers and knowledge have been being born more and more each year. Chemicals that exist in our brain for unknown reasons have been known to cause visions far beyond that of what our human minds are capable of manifesting and essentially connecting us with a higher power far beyond that explainable by modern science. I don't have any formal classroom training on any astrophysics or quantum theory, but I understand. I feel as though I am amongst others in this spiritual quest, surely I am not alone in wanting answers for that is the basis of human existence.

After researching hallucinogenic substances a little bit further, I was startled that I didn't come across any reported cases of them causing any death or even bodily harm (except for people ingesting other poisonous mushrooms mistaking them for psilocybin). In fact, even LSD is considered generally non-toxic (but can "temporarily impair the ability to make sensible judgments and understand common dangers, thus making the user more susceptible to accidents and personal injury"). Even though proven to be not permanently harmful, they are all extremely illegal. Cigarettes and alcohol have been proven to cause death and are still readily available to anyone over the posted legal age to purchase. Perhaps there is something that the law-makers of our time know about mushrooms, DMT and other psychedelics that they are trying to warn us about or protect us from? Not a physical danger, not even a spiritual danger, but the higher evolution of a species means adopting new rules and logic that would conflict with the way our contemporary society has been functioning for the last few centuries. We should leave the universal exploration to "them" I suppose, but the meaningless criminalization of a substance that has proven not only positive medicinal purposes, but also can expand one's perception. They are labelled as narcotics in the eyes of the government. Alongside lethal crack cocaine and heroine (which don't even affect the body in the same ways). Mushrooms have never proven to be addictive. They have never caused an overdose. Many people use them as an escape from reality. Reality is created by own perception. By expanding our perception, we are expanding our minds and ultimately our understanding. It just seems odd that you could potentially be incarcerated for trying to connect with higher forces. By this logic, meditation should also be outlawed as it too can lead to visions and a higher connection. Perhaps religion should be banished. These ideas seem counterproductive to the forward movement of ourselves through this infinite array of time space. We have the freedom of speech and choice but we aren't allowed to eat a certain type of mushroom that grow naturally in our ecosystem... the forbidden fruit of our modern society.

The use of these mushrooms is speculated to date back to over 1 million years ago, when humans were surviving on very primitive food sources which included roots, berries and mushrooms. The ancient shamans throughout the world who are said to be a connection between the human and spirit world have used mushrooms in their rituals and have been known to heal and seek higher powers for answers and wisdom. Shamans have been known to practice throughout Asia, Africa and South America but their practices are typically discouraged in North American society which was traditionally constructed around the Christian faith and idealism. The basis of a system on ancient beliefs is counterproductive to the evolution of mind and spirit. Often, laws have to be created and are constantly being updated to keep up with the changing of the society that it governs but its not up to us to decide what's right and wrong, its up to those forces in congress which are generally wealthy Christians and are often ignorant to the elements of their communities that don't interest them. They are essentially trapped in similar reality tunnels and are therefore by no means an accurate representation of the general public. If it seems like the government is just designed to comfort the rich and doesn't seem logical to those who aren't, then chances are you are correct.

The concept of reality tunnels is described as a theory of quantum physics which states that a particle can only be visible based on the medium you are using to view it with. Not only is this describing scientific instruments being used but also our own eyes and minds are being used to observe and measure the behavior of matter. It is a parallel to the age-old question of the "tree falling in the woods", if there's nothing to consciously observe actions, how can they exsist? Everything in nature is connected however, this is how we fit in as conscious observers. Most people never are never conscious of this connection as they have limited perception and are often bombarded with so much to occupy the mind that they never stop to question our purpose on the planet or the forces of the universe. It makes sense logically considering that meditation and sensory deprivation can put humans into a mystic state when our senses are no longer distracting our minds. Expanding our perception is constant with our evolution over time. It is a natural process and is a basic human characteristic to question and explore those realms that seem to boggle our limited minds. It is essential for ignorance to exsist however, because it allows us to create our own realities. If we ignore things that make us unhappy, eventually they go away. Or we could find the best in everything and we no longer have to ignore anything. Everyones ethics are different and that is what allows us to understand more about ourselves if we can see things from alternate perspectives. No matter what there are going to people that are for or against whatever your beliefs are but by understanding the concept of reality tunnels and the divine/quantum connection we can use this as a tool to further our exsistance as humans.

Einstein's Theory of Relativity

Einstein's theory gave shape to the models of the universe that we use today in modern science. He based his entire theory on the thought that nothing could exceed the speed of light (not even gravity) and that every force is restrained by this cosmic speed-limit. However, there is an element of quantum theory that suggests he may be wrong.
A "tachyon" is defined as:
"a putative class of particles which able to travel faster than the speed of light. Tachyons were first proposed by physicist Arnold Sommerfeld, and named by Gerald Feinberg. The word tachyon derives from the Greek (tachus), meaning "speedy." Tachyons have the strange properties that, when they lose energy, they gain speed. Consequently, when tachyons gain energy, they slow down. The slowest speed possible for tachyons is the speed of light.
Tachyons appear to violate causality (the so-called causality problem), since they could be sent to the past under the assumption that the principle of special relativity is a true law of nature, thus generating a real unavoidable time paradox (Maiorino and Rodrigues 1999). Therefore, it seems unavoidable that if tachyons exist, the principle of special relativity must be false, and there exists a unique time order for all observers in the universe independent of their state of motion."
It is interesting that they used the term "putative" to describe tachyons. By definition putative means: commonly put forth or accepted as true on inconclusive grounds. Defined by http://wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn?s=putative
So between Einstein's theory based on the law that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light, and the existence of particles that travel no slower than the speed of light (that we acknowledge as existing but cannot prove) we may just be sitting on the verge of having to restructure our concepts and understandings of the surrounding forces in our universe.
The following is a link with further information about tachyons and their implementations:
http://www.crystalinks.com/tachyon_energy.html
Some even believe it holds the key to understanding the human aura, connecting with our creators and enabling us to heal ourselves through divine power. This is all new information to me, but I figured it might have some role in helping us understand (I am not sure how much of this information is scientifically proven, but then again it is impossible to prove that something doesn't exist)

Indigo Children

The term "indigo children" originally refers to the free-spirited, rebellious youth of the late 1960's. Given the period of time where social conformity was essentially a force that could not be resisted, a new wave of human beings were said to have naturally or supernaturally evolved to show a divine new possibility of existence. Named indigo (referring to the blue or purple aura that people see surrounding them), the first wave of these "evolved" humans started becoming noticeable around the 1960's, hence spawning the rebellious spiritual revolution and environmental movements that has manifested itself into a belief system over the last few decades. Originally labelled "hippies", the new wave of humanity discovered enlightenment through connecting with each other, the earth and the rest of the universe through one constant flowing stream of energy. The outlandish and far out thoughts and idealisms that they possessed, were often dismissed as drug-induced fantasies and these free-thinking new wave of beings were discredited due to the open use of hallucinogenic substances and the mere fact that the generation before them simply could not comprehend or relate to these ideas and feelings.

The second wave of indigo children is said to fall between 1978 and 1995. Scientifically, the children in question actually posses newly discovered genes that were not present in human beings before, which is concrete evidence of the inevitable evolutionary phase we have already begun. Not only do these children posses a great deal of intelligence and creativity (often misdiagnosed as attention deficit disorder due to their reluctance to focus on minute trivial matters) but also they are said to have a much greater intuition, which when channelled, can be used to heal, contact the deceased, tap into collective memory and essentially are gifted with overall psychic powers. Children as early as 2 years old have described in detail, events and situations that no child's imagination could ever manifest on its own, perhaps giving proof to the theory that our mysterious pineal glands (said to be the "third eye", a window into a spiritual realm) could in fact be preparing for a divine evolution in which the process has already begun.

One article states that the government acknowledges the existence of this new wave of psychic beings, but does not embrace them as it would be counterproductive towards its conformist-based capitalism-driven system of human functionality. Often, the indigo children are easily distinguished in early school years because of their lack of focus and unwillingness to conform to the idealistic standards of today's North American school systems. Their abilities are often labelled as "attention deficit disorder" and are treated with medications to essentially make them fall back in line and cut off any type of free thought and spiritual independence. Evidence of this lies as close to home as the water we drink, which is full of fluoride and chlorine, chemicals that have been known to slow the growth of the brain in humans. Chem-trails and vaccinations are also thought to be an attempt at controlling us carried out by the same leaders we elected, which makes perfect sense that the government which operates by century-old laws and ancient theories, would be under threat if all of a sudden the same people they were controlling were suddenly smarter and more in-tune with the universe than they are. Sounds like anarchist propaganda, but continuing with the notion that anything is possible, it certainly raises a concern on some level. Its hard to believe that anyone truly trusts the government to begin with.

It wasn't until discovering this phenomenon, that I realized all my childhood experiences with paranormal feats and psychic ability were actually justified. I was labelled as "gifted" in the early years of elementary school but often found it hard to focus on the boring material in class. This spawned a great deal of my own creativity to manifest itself and I was never diagnosed with ADHD. My family could confirm that in the past I've made presumably innocent predictions that had come true, including the accidental death of my grandmother in 2008, and having been in contact with my deceased father when I was only 3 years old. I am told what I described was real, and have some family members convinced that I may just posses a divine connection into another realm that extends beyond the reaches of the planet and the physical laws that we abide by in our contemporary society. In essence, if one were to label me as a indigo child, it would make sense to know that I did exactly what it was that "we" were supposed to do... enlighten others with this gift. The following videos can better describe these new enlightened form of human beings:

Regardless of what your personal beliefs are, I am comforted to know that I am not alone in my far-fetched theories, all which somehow relate back to 2012. Fact or fiction, these "crazy ideas" have scientific and spiritual evidence to suggest that there there much more going on than just what we see infront of us on a daily basis. By acknowledging these changes we can ensure this transition is as comfortable for us as possible, since it is going to happen whether or not we prepare or believe.

please refer to this website, it's the best source of information that I've found on Indigo Children, etc.

Proving Non-Existance

It is my personal understanding that it is impossible to prove that something does not exist under any circumstance, meaning that an atheist cannot prove that god doesn't exist and a christian cannot prove that god exists on any type of scientific level. If one chooses a side and remains true to the set beliefs of either one of the above organised religions, they are generating a virtual stalemate of closed-mindedness. The answer, I believe, is somewhere in between that of nothing and something, perhaps an entity comprised of energy that is not known to human beings, from beyond our earthly realm. The fact remains no one can scientifically prove that something does not exist in the universe, which opens up an unlimited amount of possibilities. To have an open mind is to embrace the quest for knowledge, understanding and the evolution of human beings as a species. This being said, with the understanding that virtually anything is possible, the goal of disproving certain philosophies and beliefs is now deemed useless and the need for compromise between modern science and the ancient teachings of religion become more apparent. As humans continue to rival opposing religions over a divine misunderstanding, the ability to embrace our diversity and band together as one is becoming less exercised. Perhaps it would take a threat from an alien species, or at least an encounter or sign proving that we are not alone in the universe, to enable us as human beings to finally work together, an issue that has plagued mankind for centuries.

Evolution is apparent in our civilization, regardless of religion, it can be seen in our industrial and technological revolutions over the last few decades. To strictly abide by the rules and ethics of a religious system developed before these times would be counter productive towards our own growth of a species. If we have gone from primitive beings, to an advanced form of being able to travel space and harness the powers of electricity and the forces of nature, surely the understandings of ancient religious texts could be adapted as well. To take translations from ancient prophecies literally and ignore all scientific basis is absurd. Whether or not some of the biblical tales are true, we must understand that the "flaming chariot" in the sky described by the Bible, may not have literally been seen as a flaming chariot, but this description was the closest to anything they may have had at this time. Modern day human beings might describe the same exact sight as a "flying saucer" or unidentified flying object, which is exactly what that was to our ancestors that existed millenia before we did. It is one thing to believe what you see with your own eyes, but what you see in your imagination could hold the key to where we are headed as spiritual beings.

Language presents a barrier in deciphering the ancient accounts of those who walked the Earth centuries before us. Even to this day, our concept of language is limited. We can describe tangable goods to each other, but expressing our thoughts and feelings cannot be accurate as there are no ways to truly communicate our emotions, except for the words we use which mean different things to different people. The concept of love to one person, based on their experiences with love, simply communicated as the word "love" is interpreted differently by anyone else that is listening. All of our thoughts and experiences, although they are similar, and somewhat in tune due to the ongoing phenomenon of collective memory passed on through genetics, are still different to each human for we all have varying degrees of compassion, different morals and varying amounts of different chemicals that dictate our mood, goals, attitudes and essentially our beliefs. Embracing this diversity would actually help us overcome our religious and racial obstacles if we realized that the contemporary christian views of heaven and hell are actually only a few miscommunication throughout history of the beliefs of the Islamic, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu and many other of the organized religions. If several different figures shared the same encounters, but all spoke different languages and communicated based on different systems of teachings and understandings, surely the same stories would mutate over time, particularly over thousands of years while the languages we used to translate them today have been developing and changing the entire time. No religion is entirely right, or entirely wrong by this basis, but it is the true acceptance of new ideas of embracing a balance between our spiritual and scientific sides as organisms that will truly gain us enlightenment. Essentially a compromise must be made to ensure this balance is present.

The balance between all things in nature must be maintained. It is physical law. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction, etc. On a scientific level, all the fundamental physical laws represent a natural balance. The same theories can be transferred over into our psychological and spiritual lives. There must be a balance between our individual concepts of "good" and "evil." No matter what, all of these concepts are relative based on our own personal experiences. For example, an extremely privileged child may find it to be a real burden to spend time in a typical "middle-class" household without the luxurious amenities they are used to, while a child from a third-world country would see that opportunity as a blessing and would experience conditions far better than the surroundings they are used to. Another non monetary example is that a warm day in Northern Canada in January, may be -10 degrees Celsius, while that same temperature in South America would be the coldest weather most people in that climate would ever experience. The great balance is a loose theory that I personally believe is the key to understanding ourselves as adaptable, intellectually advanced, yet still immensely undeveloped psychological beings and the surrounding conditions that some force has brought us here to discover. My theory of a great balance has left me with an open mind and freed me from the theoretical and evolutionary dead-ends of organized religions, which as mentioned previously, need a little bit of modern day tuning to truly be relevant to the surroundings that we face in the present day. By no means am I arguing for or against any type of belief system, simply stating that there shouldn't be a conflict between spirituality and modern day science. Hopefully, religion and science can co-exist and grow to compliment each other, proving both elements are actually accurate, that there is a definitive scientific explanation for things we simply cannot comprehend based on our neurological capacity as humans in this point in time.

Finally, just to clarify my own personal definitions of "religion" and "spirituality" which can often get mistaken for one another are as follows,

Religion: A group of people following belief systems established to dictate factors such as the origin of mankind and the universe, morality, the existence of higher powers and the afterlife.

Spirituality: One's own personal quest to discover who they are as an entity in the universe.

There simply is no way to prove that something does not exist though. Which enables a vast unlimited potential of possibilities. No matter what the beliefs of a person are, an open mind should be kept when pondering what the future has in store. It is truly a sign that we should "never say never."

Ancient Encounters

The following 5-part video highlights a number of ancient documented encounters from beyond our realm of conception. Various parts of the world report similar experiences, long before the ages of global communication, perhaps just a small point in the direction of our understanding of existence in the universe and the circumstances in which we came to be. Its relevance to 2012 is that the ancient scriptures of many different cultures depict a higher power contacting the human race many centuries ago, enabling the seemingly primitive civilizations to engineer structures that reflect a divine concept of our place in the universe, only to be recently proved by modern science in only the past few decades. Did our ancestors know something that we did not? The answer lies in our imaginations until that of our scientific endeavors can confirm or deny the theories that exist. Ancient cultures, and their encounters with other life forms? Or ancient tales created by human imagination?

The Sumerians

The ancient Sumerians who originated in the land of Sumer, which is now the country of Iraq, existed in the biblical times that were recorded in the Old Testament of the bible that Christians follow today. Their theory on the creation of mankind, describes alien life forms from the planet Nibiru or "planet x" which has yet to be discovered in our solar system. Much like the Mayans, the Sumerians had mapped out our solar system centuries before our modern technology could confirm that planets existed that were further than the naked eye of the human being could view. They depicted the planet Pluto being present thousands of years before our modern astronomers and scientists confirmed its existence in 1931. They told of other planets that contained water and described the color and surface of Jupiter, information that could not be confirmed until the early 1980's when NASA sent a probe deep into our galaxy and discovered that the Sumerians had actually been accurate in their ancient depictions of the solar system that still remains a mystery to us today. Science has yet to explain how the Sumerians and the Mayans could possibly have known this, hundreds and thousands of years before modern science discovered this information. Not only is our present knowledge of our solar system and universe confirming this ancient knowledge, but is actually using it to further discover what lies beyond Earth's atmosphere.

It is easy to simply discard these ancient tales as folklore, but if they knew the exact structure of our solar system thousands of years before we did, perhaps we should keep an open mind towards their predictions and calculations for their future, which just so happens to be our present. The Sumerians believed that it was a higher race of beings that inhabited the planet Niburu that actually created mankind as we know it today. No matter what you believe, if God represents the force that created humanity, and is an entity from beyond our planet, science would describe this force as an alien being. The fact that "god" as contemporary Christianity sees it, is from a higher place than Earth, literally defines that creational force as being an "alien entity" given that it did not originate on our planet. Once again, my goal is not to disrupt the beliefs of Christianity, Scientology or any other religion. I am merely trying to express the connection I see between science and spirituality. The spiritual "god" can be explained by science as being an entity from beyond Earth, simply saying that whatever force brought us here today and could potentially return, is not from the planet and society that we know today. Overall, I believe that compromise is essential to our evolution of humanity. If we cannot keep an open mind towards our theories and surroundings, there is no way we can build on our dead ends of ignorance.

That being said, the Sumerians claim to have been contacted by a higher form of enlightened beings referred to as the Annunaki, the creators of mankind. The Sumerians illustrated the Annunaki actually created the human race through genetic engineering. If this sounds far fetched, the fact that human beings themselves are able to genetically engineer ourselves and travel space, just go to prove the fact that anything, really.... is possible.

Relative and further information can be found in the following 3 videos, all parts of a documentary on the ancient Sumerian culture and its ties between modern science and religion, perhaps unlocking the balance of compromise between the two:

After reviewing the videos, it is only in this day and age that we can find relevance between the scientific aspects and the ancient biblical scriptures. Science does not necessarily have to oppose religion. If you believe in God, then science is merely a way of human beings to decipher his formula for creating the world we know today. Modern science has only began to confirm the ancient scriptures from our ancestors, who quite possibly knew something that we still have yet to discover.

The Pineal Gland

The pineal gland is perhaps the most mysterious part of the human body. Located at the center of the brain, it has been referred to as the "third eye" and many believe it could hold the key to our own existence in the universe. One of the functions of the gland is that it produces a chemical called"dimethyltryptamine" or DMT every night during our REM sleep. This chemical enables our subconscious to produce dreams in a realm that is different from our waking conscious life and reality. DMT is present in most living things including trees, plants, animals and of course humans. This substance has been known to be present in our brains for decades, but is rarely discussed possibly because of the lack of knowledge we have towards its mysterious power. Some have even found a way to extract this chemical from plants and have used it as a hallucinogenic drug. Its results were described as a mind blowing look into another realm far beyond that of our earthly parameters. A study was done where dozens of human test subjects were given this drug and asked to document its affects. These results were astounding to the scientists conducting the experiment. Most of the subjects reported experiencing extreme hallucinations or visions that were unquestionably beyond something the human brain could manifest on its own. People that have experienced the drug claimed to be in touch with another realm of the universe, some supposedly were in contact with higher life forms that were unlike any of those that we know about on our planet. What does this have to do with 2012? Some cultures, and non partisan scientists believe that DMT and the pineal gland may just be the divine and spiritual evolution that many cultures have been predicting for centuries.

Many cultures and religions have a great variety of beliefs as to what will happen with the future of mankind and the realm and conditions we live in. Not to patronize organised religions, but the end result of all basic concepts is that if you follow a divine path, you will survive in some kind of spiritual afterlife. The chemical DMT is produced when you die, which is the scientific explanation behind the "white light" and the talking to passed loved ones when one faces a near-death experience. We can now start to analyze the unknown spiritual side of our beings on a scientific level. The activity in the brain including electric impulses continues for several minutes after a human dies, and with the combination of the chemical DMT which is said to cause hallucinations that seems to transcend time and space could just be the celestial "heaven" that so many religions use to describe the afterlife of someone who is pure and follows the basic guidelines to humanity. These ideals differ from person to person, they are communicated through scripture and sermons, but since we are not all telepathic beings, the words we read and hear are not actually the intended feelings the speaker is having. They are merely triggers into our brain of our own understanding of the words we read and write, which opens up an unlimited gateway into miscommunication. To pray, and embrace an understanding of a higher power could just be the first step to unlocking our potential power inside our own brains. Our beliefs are all completely different even if we all belong to the same religion, we still cannot completely communicate our feelings through spoken and written languages. To sum it up, we may have to believe this in order to be able to experience this great transition and evolution as spiritual beings. If the pineal gland is an untapped gateway into a spiritual realm and a person never attempts to connect with it, the evolutionary process may not affect them, since their spiritual side is inactive or non-existent. The conflict between Determinism and Free Will could be conquered if we realize that there are factors that we can and can't control, ultimately proving both theories to be accurate even though they are complete opposites. In the end, the future is nothing more than unknown, but through strings of "what-if's", educated guesses, and the willingness to compromise and accept theories, the answers may just be out there.

DNA and 2012

DNA is the blueprint of our beings. It is a code that dictates how our cells are structured and produced, literally defining who we are as physical entities...

The evolution of man from primitive homo-erectus and neanderthal to the homo-sapiens we are today have not been gradual changes. Our DNA evolves abrupt and instantaneously instead of gradually over time which is why "the missing link" has never been discovered. The true answer lies with one type of rebel genetic element known as Retrotransposons. Essentially they are connectors of the tiny molecules that form our DNA and are actually able to relocate and fuse into other positions, essentially changing our entire chemical makeup. These changes are a dramatic, instant restructuring of our chemical makeup as humans.

In the year 3114BC, the Earth completed one fifth of its cycle called the Precession of the Equinoxes. This is also the year the Mayan calendar states that time began. This does not necessarily mean the Mayans believed the Earth was created on this date, but merely an educated guess into how their life began, perhaps marking a divine evolution of mankind. It is interesting to note that around 3000 BC, was when the Early Dynastic Period of Egypt started. The first known hieroglyphics can be dated back closely to this date. The first monument of Stonehenge was said to be build around then. In Malta, structures were built that reflected the solar and lunar cycles. Newgrange, a passage tomb was constructed by the New Stone Age people of Ireland, where at the dawn of the winter solstice (December 21st) a small beam of light can be seen on the floor. These events are all within a small time span of each other, and even though took place in isolated parts of the world, before the ages of global communications, it is interesting to note that all mark an evolution in mankind where we are no longer basic organisms looking for survival, but now are intelligent beings looking for answers (further evidence to prove the existence of collective memory: the belief that once information is known to one person, the rest of the population can telepathically receive the same information without any physical contact or communication). The key to interpreting the end of the Mayan calendar lies in understanding the basis in which it was created. It predicts the end of an era, perhaps foreshadowing the next major evolution in human beings which can be greatly impacted by the changes in our solar system.

Science tells us that we have "junk dna" in our bodies. There is currently unused matter in our dna structure, much like we have a huge capacity of unused brain space. The fact that our bodies have this unexplainable "extra junk" could be a good indication that we may be due for a real scientific evolution within our lifetimes. This event could ultimately be triggered by the changes in our Sun. The retrotransposons discussed earlier, are the changeable molecules that are able to relocate in our dna structure. This change can be triggered by changes and fluctuations in radiation levels that are received by the human body. The sun is our main source of this radiation and is constantly changing as it travels through its cycles. It emits not only radiation and heat, but a magnetic field which can directly change the Earth's atmosphere, gravitational pull and affect whatever life inhabits it. Many foresee changing levels of radiation to represent our own demise and proving to be fatal towards human beings, which would be true if these changes were to happen faster than we could adapt to. The same harmful radiation however, has been used to alter DNA samples and thus, could be the ultimate catalyst of human evolution (this is not an attempt to preach evolutionism, merely a try to discover the balance between the forces that created humans, and the abilities to evolve on our own through technology and adaptation to our surroundings).

The Pineal Gland located inside the human brain may just hold the answer into what we can expect in the next stages of our evolution, scientifically and spiritually.

Are we alone in the Universe??

It seems far fetched to picture "aliens" and other life forms contacting humans and being present in our solar system. The fact of the matter is, it is impossible to prove that something does not exist, which opens up unlimited possibilities for our extremely limited human brains to comprehend. We, as a civilization have been able to conquer space beyond our Earth and land on the moon. We have countless numbers of satellites that orbit our planet and crafts that are sent all over our solar system to take pictures and samples from other planets. Who's to say there isn't another planet with inhabitable conditions somewhere in our universe with a life form that is capable of the same, if not more? If we can do it, why can't they.

Doctor Edgar Mitchell was the "sixth man on the moon" and has based his career around the study of our Earth, solar system and the cosmic mystery that surrounds us. Here are his thoughts and experiences with life on other planets:

Nasa has documented dozens of unidentified flying objects while filming in space on their Apollo missions, from the space station Mir and on their other "endeavors" into space. Here is a look at some of their footage:

Images of giant UFO caught amongst Saturn's rings:

As easily as these could be fake, they could be real. It's completely up to you whether or not you choose to believe in aliens and ufo's and all the other "paranoid conspiracy theories" your mainstream media would like you to see as "crazy". The fact of the matter is, we still have a lot to learn as a species. We consider ourselves divine beings and are extremely smug in our beliefs that we are a superior race. It is ignorant to think that we're alone in the universe considering every star that we see in the sky at night is another sun with more planets and essentially parallel universes existing right in front of us. The fact that we are a memory species allows us to draw on millions of years of our existence through our genes which will dictate our basic instincts. A film called "Waking Life" produced in 2001, states that, "Reincarnation is simply a poetic expression of us gaining our instincts through genetics." So basically, our DNA can be used as a rebuttal towards Existentialism or "Free Will" as it is referred to. It opens up a whole new debate as to whether or not we even have free will, or if everything in our existence is predetermined based on our circumstances. Once again I will leave it up to you to decide.

But, "what does our DNA have to do with 2012???" you ask... the truth is, this goes deeper than you may have suspected.

A More "Religious" View of 2012

Science and Religion have always opposed each other. Ever since I was younger, I always saw the two as parallels both equally as relevant. Never belonging to an organized religion, I consider myself a spiritual believer in a realm that is beyond our basic human understanding. I believe in creation and evolution harmonized to bring us to where we are today. If the creator was "God" as a single being, spiritual entity or simply a source of energy, then surely our technological and archaeological advances prove that human beings as a species have "evolved". It has always perplexed me that science and religion have opposed each other when science is merely a way of deciphering a very deep and celestial model of who we are and where we fit into the grand scheme of the universe. Perhaps we need to evolve more as spiritual and scientific beings before we can grow to understand the fundamentals of our own existence.

The following video supports a more religious point of view, and shows that even biblical scholars have predicted 2012, not just a foreshadowing of the changes to come, but also as an idea to how we came to be on this planet. As primitive beings we consider our creators "God" someone who genetically engineered us to function the way we do. Surely this God is not from our planet. It is a celestial being from beyond the stars, an "Extra Terrestrial" as modern science would describe it. The video talks about a deleted chapter of the bible known as the Book of Enoch which claims we may not be alone in the universe with relevance to the year 2012 and the planetary alignments.

It is easy to ignore the storybook tales of some primitive culture, but hard to ignore the question: "Are we alone in the universe????"
